This short-lived event was held in the three seasons that the League held a Finals Day and was played on a single frame straight knock out basis with a best of 3 final. The competition was held in its entirety on Finals Day at the end of the season and was open to the first 32 players to register for the competition on the day and pay the small entry fee.

Finals Day was initiated as a celebration of the season and other major finals in the League’s calendar were held on the day with the season’s Presentation Night taking place in the evening. Whilst many believed the idea to be a good one in theory, the day turned out to have significant costs and was not sufficiently supported by teams who did not have players reaching finals. The whole event has therefore been discontinued in 2018/19.
