Gary Cooper Memorial Trophy

The trophy for the Gary Cooper Memorial Trophy was donated by the John Company in memory of Gary Cooper, a former stalwart of the pub and the pool team. The competition was played in one night on a simple single frame knock out basis with a best of 3 final with each registered team permitted to enter one player.
After the John Company closed, the team became JC Tulse, JC Horse and then JC Horns, based on their home venue of the day.
The competition dates back at least to 1998 and maybe earlier but the older winner information is not available. The event was discontinued in 2016. Winner information prior to 2007 will be added if/when it is made available to us.
Historic trophies are not in the League’s current possession.
