The Sid Burgess Singles Trophy (AKA Singles Trophy - name changed in [year unknown but not later than 1992]) is an annual event which players enter individually through separate entry fees from the annual team registration. Each match is played on a best of 3 frames basis with a best of 5 frames final.
In 2015/16, the format of the early rounds of the competition was changed from straight knock out rounds to mini-competitions with the successful eight players advancing to the Quarter Finals of the overall competition later in the season.
