This new event was introduced as a summer event (August) in 2018 and is open to all players in the League who are interested in participating and who turn up on the night and pay a £1 entry fee.

Medals, rather than trophies, are awarded for the summer events.

The League has not held any competitions in August prior to 2018 as a lot of players with young families are on holiday, but a number of players had requested some competition and it was agreed to hold different competitions at different venues on the first three Mondays of the month. This tournament is played with spot and stripe balls (each of which has a numerical value, 1-15) rather than red and yellow balls. Each player gets 10 shots, including the break off shot. The winner is the player scoring the highest numerical value from balls potted in his/her 10 shots. The potential total score is 120 points if all balls are potted by a player. The current League record stands at 104 points.
